My beloved other grammy turned 80 two days ago, and today the whole mafia was together in celebrating her. I love how the whole clan always comes around for these functions. A couple of shots of my aunties as well. Family bliss, 2007 version :-)

Full of it

The garbagemen and garbagewomen are on strike. Good for them, bad for us. Everywhere you go, there's piles of trash. It's starting to smell really bad, and the authorities are concerned about the potential health hazard rats could become. D'oh.

A valentine and a grandma

So not a lot of people know this, but I actually despise Valentine's Day and the Hallmark Greeting Card mentality it represents. The only thing that makes this phony holiday worth while for me, is that by chance it also happens to be my grandmothers birthday.

So the lovely James celebrated his 28th yesterday night at the Black Bridge Inn. (I know, sounds like something from Lotr) Good food and entertaining company, met an old class mate of mine whom I hadn't seen for 10 years. Very strange.
