The race is over! I was sure that Charla & Mirna had it down, but in the end they couldn't compete with Eric & Dan's physique. Good try, though. They kept racing until the last second.

I just love this shot of a mother pushing her sick son in the hospital hallways to distract him from the pain of his terminal cancer. Really uplifting, spite the tragedy of kids with illnesses. My own mother can tell you some gruesome stories from her time interning at the childrens cancer ward at the hospital. It's just heartbreaking. That's why a picture like this just lifts your spirit instantly. All rights to this amazing photograph belong to Renée C. Byer. Derek, the boy in the picture died May 10, 2006. He was 10.

Trashing about Copenhagen

I just had one of those days. Saying goodbye to someone you love is hard, so I just sort of walked the streets of the capital all day long.


Went to the most clichéd places to keep from thinking about the whole ordeal. I just don't wanna deal with it right now.

Helsinki - JFK

So she actually left. She got on a plane to Helsinki and right now she is flying 30,000 feet over the atlantic ocean.


And before she did that, she moved all her things into boxes and into a storage facility. She's gone.

21,915 days of marriage

Today my paternal grandparents have been married for 60 years. That's like friggin amazing. It's about 3 times as long as I have been on this planet. They've been married through Perestrojka, The Cuba crisis, JFK's assaination, the invention of the microchip and Ulla Therkelsen working in television. A true achievement.

Breaking news: Charlie survives!

This just in: Charlie Pace has survived an attempt on his life by Ms. Danielle Rosseau. Mr. Pace is currently in critical condition, but the attending doctor at Island Hospital, Dr. Jack Sheppard says he is certain that a full recovery is possible for Mr. Pace: "Charlie got lucky. Nokia 6300, but not really

I've been waiting for so damn long for this model to drop, and when it finally does I'm a little like.....bleeeh. It ain't half as cool as I thought it would be. It suffers under the terrible software the finns torture us with. A 2 Mpix camera without autofocus just doesn't cut it. Don't get me wrong it still may be right for some, but I'm sticking with my k750 for now.
