If all else fails, dance!

Amongst others at the party last night you could find The Turk, Good Twin, Pelle, Hippie Shit, Azerbaijan and Buddist Hunk. As custom in our culture commands us, the boys all danced to try and impress the ladies. Don't ask me if it worked, I haven't a clue. By that time I had fallen into heavy conversation with a russian gentleman by the name of Papshmir.....or maybe it was Smirnoff.

These guys have a very "take no prisoners" attitude towards partying.
Hard to recognize, but that's actually the midsection of Lady Di.

Peter Sommer: 8660
I cannot stop listening to this song! It is so damn good! It's not a new release, but I've only now come to discover Mr Sommer. It's visual work like this, that makes me want to do what I do for a living. Just watch the video, listen to the words. And a catchy tune as well. Never before has singing about a city been as close to home for me as he does it. Ka-ching!

NEVER eat at Jensens!
So me and some good company were looking for lunch, and decided upon Jensen's Bøfhus. I had a big salad, and inside it I found a whole caterpillar worm! It was so freaking disgusting, I can't even begin to describe it! And to make matters worse, the head waitress was an arrogant bitch who didn't seem to give a shit. It's the worst costumer service EVER! It would have been so easy for her to save the situation, but she couldn't give a fuck. Terrible. Below is a picture from before it went all wrong for this sorry excuse for a restaurant.

Prison is not for kids
Kids from the riots in beginning of the month are still jailed up. First of all, people under the age of 18 shouldn't see the inside of a prison cell. And I mean, how long can it take to decide how guilty someone is?

Forbrydelsen/The Crime

It seems like everone but me is watching this show. The buzz is extremely significant. Don't want to start watching now though, might as well wait until it gets released on DVD. I'm sure the DR haven't thought about recording in HD, so it might be futile to wait for a Blu-Ray release anyway. Still, I really wanna see that icelandic sweater in full detail....

Work ethics? Naaahh...

Just another day at the office, people goofing around instead of working.
In the words of the Maiden of the Rock, "Work harder!" :-)

I'm swimming to work
It's days like these I'm glad I passed my swimming examns in the 5th grade. I always walk across this yard on my way to the office, but last night it rained so heavy, that I might as well bring Speedos and a paddle. I'll let you know if I find fish down there.

Police and the Sting

Can't stop thinking about the civil war in cph. Can't stop thinking about the users of Ungdomshuset.
They say they are peacefull. Then there's the police. They too say they're peacefull, only there to stop violence.

Yet you see one front throwing rocks and the other throwing around youngsters like rag dolls. Odd thing is, when most of these demoers go home, they have school tomorrow, and when the cops go home, they're just another Bob in the street.
Media still going on about it. Overexposure you might say, if it wasn't for our national broadcaster I wouldn't have a clue that this was going on in the kingdom's capital. And perhaps I would be just as well off. So who are the real purpetrators?
Aren't we smarter than this? I'm baffled.

Demolition has begun!

A bulldozer/caterpillar machine has started tearing away the layers of Ungdomshuset. Spectators are apparently in chock, many are said to be standing paralyzed in the street, while others cry in mourning over the loss of "their" house. I put that in quotation marks, because technicaly and legally the house belongs to Ruth Evensens vehicle, Faderhuset. Not that I'm quite sure what she wanted the property for. Opening a flower shop, perhaps?

Pics and more buzz

The tv stations won't stop talking about the demolition. Everybody says it's gonna happen today. Apparently Ruth Evensen has been to the site and inspected the house and is gonna pass her verdict on to the public later today. Can't wait to hear what the woman has to say. Pics above are from the source itself, the police - shot in the minutes of the clearance 4 days ago.

Riots, day 4
.jpg)
.jpg)
The conflict in Copenhagen is now entering its fourth day... and it seems like the users of Ungdomshuset are so pissed off they are gonna continue to fight for their cause. That's their right, you know. We still uphold a democracy round here.

Demolition?

The media is buzzing with talk about the upcoming possible demolition of the now police controlled Ungdomshuset. It just seems like more and more fuel is being poured onto this fire.

Civil war scenarios

Again, I want to express my discontent with what goes on in Copenhagen in these hours. It is simply not suitable for a country like Denmark. Shame on us all.
