Push it, mommy dearest

I just love this shot of a mother pushing her sick son in the hospital hallways to distract him from the pain of his terminal cancer. Really uplifting, spite the tragedy of kids with illnesses. My own mother can tell you some gruesome stories from her time interning at the childrens cancer ward at the hospital. It's just heartbreaking. That's why a picture like this just lifts your spirit instantly. All rights to this amazing photograph belong to Renée C. Byer. Derek, the boy in the picture died May 10, 2006. He was 10.
