Happy Birthday, 2001!

Did you know? Today, April 6 is the anniversary of the cinema premiere of Stanley Kubricks masterpiece "2001:A space odessey"? The movie first captivated audiences on April 6, 1968. It's amazing knowledge as it still seems as relevant and poignant as ever. Here's my way of paying tribute to the work of two late legends, Mr. Stanley Kubrick and Mr. Arthur C. Clarke, OBE. Today is the first day of "2001: A weeklong celebration" that will take place on this blog. To kick the show off, here is the original theatrical trailer for the movie:
